The Silent
Stones

For twenty-five years, Daunte has lived with stories of Jamaica whispered through memory, silence, and pain. His mother vowed never to return, determined to leave the past buried. But now Grammy Maude—the family’s formidable matriarch—is dying, and time is running out. If he is ever to know where he truly comes from, the time is now.

What begins as a journey into family history soon pulls him into a haunting Caribbean saga.

A Jamaican on Ice

Aaah-Inspiring
Antarctica

In 2007, Judith Falloon-Reid became the first Jamaican woman to set foot on Antarctica—turning a journey to the White Continent into two books, a photo exhibit, a film, a song and an unforgettable talk.

Travel with Judith through the eclectic streets of Buenos Aires, across Tierra del Fuego and the rugged Patagonian Mountains, into Ushuaia—the southernmost city in the world—then across the Drake Passage and on to Antarctica.

Massive blue icebergs seem to float by, volcanic islands disappear into clouds, brilliant white ice meets dark landscapes, lazy seals drift on ice floes and seabirds fill the skies. This is far more than penguins and ice. It is sheer beauty.
